Earthquake in Central Alaska

When the wind blows the camper rocks back and forth. A few minutes ago I (David) was sitting there reading and it started rocking. Problem was, the wind was calm.

This is the first quake our family has experienced in about 25 years. The previous one was in Knoxville. It woke Eric and me up. Chris and Betty, of course, slept through it.

  1. WOW! Some experience. Did Betty sleep through it again this time? That's two of them; are you going for three? Was the 1:02 AM local time? Probably not since it is only 2:44 AM here now.
In the North Atlantic on weather patrol I saw both the summer and winter long/short days. In winter, even at noon it was dark because of heavy clouds most of the time, The long days were much better! Dad.
