Mineral springs, gambling, and high-end shopping. We took a tour of the casino this morning, pictures below. Lovely streets; the place reminds me of Saratoga Springs, NY. No horse racing though.... Actually maybe they said there is. Fancy fancy place though. We are not especially fancy people though, so are hanging out in our hotel (Helio-Park) relaxing. Might go out for a wurst (?) and some street-scene pictures later though. Need to save some energy for 3 days in the Alps :-)
In summary, if you want to play roulette (or even Texas Hold-em, done with a German accent) in a place that looks like a palace, or spend 3 hours in a series of hot, warm, and cold mineral baths, Baden-Baden is the place for you. The rest of us are walking around looking at shop windows

ReplyDeleteI looked at the design page and did not see any way to do that. Maybe increasing the percent zoom on your end might be possible?
