Trier, and start of the Rick Steves tour

We have joined up with the rest of our tour group, here in Trier. To anyone who watches Rick Steves on PBS and has considered taking a tour, I say DO IT! What a wonderfully compatible group we have here. There are 20 of us, and 2 tour leaders.

Trier is a lovely old medieval town. Pictures should attach:

      yes sounds amazing so far V & I need to do this too! I have a recollection that Constantine's [early 4th century roman emporer who legitimized Christianity] mother brought the "true cross" from Jerusalem to Trier. Another claim to fame besides Karl Marx's birthplace.

    Hi Jim- you would love this tour! Lots and lots of interesting things to see and learn. Although when I try to remember a few German words, they stick in my brain about 30 seconds then ... Whoosh... Gone.
