White rocks. Salty, I suppose.
There was a Mormon settlement in the area in the late 1800's sometime- the town was Fruita Utah, now part of the park. We did not tour the old houses- lots of crowds, surprisingly. But we walked past the old orchard, and visited with one of the horses.
